Build the scene around one event
For a short video, choose one expressive action: someone opens a workshop, a paper boat crosses a puddle or an object appears in soft light. State the space, time of day and viewpoint. Then describe the change within the scene. Trying to fit a character introduction, chase and ending into one prompt makes the connection between events hard to sustain.
YesAI presents Veo as a video model with sound. Build the description in two layers: what is seen and what is heard. Rain outside, footsteps on a wooden floor and a short spoken line create different focal points. Choose the main one and specify which sounds must not drown it out.
Specify speech and background sound separately
If a character speaks, write the exact short line and identify the speaker. Add the language and a simple delivery direction, such as 'quietly, as in ordinary conversation'. Avoid several long dialogues in one scene. Listen to all generated speech: correct-looking visuals do not prove accurate wording or balanced volume.
A speech-free scene still needs deliberate sound direction. Room noise, wind and music are not interchangeable. For a product demonstration, request only natural action sounds if music would interfere. Assess the connection between audio and action, not merely whether a soundtrack exists.
Frames and story continuation
The service supports a starting-image workflow and a first-and-last-frame mode. Describe how the scene should move between states. For photograph animation, separately list stationary elements: background, building geometry or product shape. Check these throughout the finished video.
